“Sing to the LORD a new song. Sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise His name, proclaim His salvation day after day.” (Psalms 96:1-2) Encouraged by the psalmist, we worship the Lord with music and song, lifting up our praises to God, giving thanks for His love and grace.

Worship times at Calvary Chapel Chico typically consist of contemporary praise and worship, along with classic hymns that are often arranged in a way that is new and fresh.

On Sunday mornings there are different worship teams that alternate week by week. But the scope of Calvary’s worship ministry is much larger. There are various worship leaders and musicians in the body who minister to all different age groups.
