Construction Fund
We are about to embark on another venture of faith as we prepare to begin the next step of our ongoing remodeling project. Since we moved into this building, we have been remodeling and creatively using the space we now enjoy to care for the multitude of children the Lord has brought into our care. We have already completed stage 2 of this project and are eager to begin stage 3.
- Stage 1 was converting the theater at the end of the hall into two preschool rooms. This gave us a room upstairs that we have been using for Jr. High.
- Stage 2 was converting the next two theaters into four more preschool rooms as well as a kitchen and Nursing mom’s room.
- Stage 3 is putting in an elevator and a grand staircase that will allow us to use the two upstairs rooms we created during stage 2 as a large multi-purpose classroom and a new home for our high schoolers.
Note: To help minister to the children of Chico, we are opening a preschool here at Calvary Chapel Chico. One of the requirements to open a preschool is an outside playground. We are currently in the process of building a park size playground including a BBQ and fellowship area for our church body.
